Vijayawada: Srisailam dam is receiving highest inflows of the season as massive flow of water from upstream areas is filling up the reservoir. The flood water, at one stage crossed more than 2 lakh cusecs, but slightly reduced to 1.84 lakh cusecs by Friday evening.Apart from Tungabhadra, about 1.7 lakh cusecs of water from Jurala dam across the Krishna river, taking the figures at Srisailam project to 3.2 lakh cusecs.
