VIJAYAWADA: The Jana Sena is getting ready for October 15 marathon rally across Godavai river on the historical Dowleswara Barrage . The top leadership of the Jana Sena, led by its chief Pawan Kalyan , would participate in the marathon rally as a few lakhs of its activists are expected to attend. Interestingly, it was on June 12 that YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy led a massive rally on the rail-cum-road bridge after he completed his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in West Godavari district. The area is decorated with the party flags to inspire the rank and file.The Jana Sena had initially planned this marathon rally on the rail-cum-road bridge from Kovvur, but switched to the Dowleswaram barrage following suggestions from the police and experts on the strength of the rail-cum-road bridge.
