However, the TTD vigilance and security wing, with the help of Vagapadi (prasadam wing), which got a tip-off about the scam, verified the records and detected the scam, establishing the connivance of laddu counter contract staff.The contract staff allegedly availed the extra laddus by resorting to double entries and duplication. Similarly, devotees availing the 'Sarvadarshan' (free darshan) are also given two laddus at a subsidised price of Rs 10 each. Besides the devotees, TTD provides 10 laddus a month to its working and retired employees at a much more subsidised price of Rs 5 per laddu.The contract staff had allegedly availed the extra laddus by resorting to double entries and duplication.
