However, in the changed political differences between Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government had blocked the CBI activities in the state. The ACB is currently looking into the corruption charges against the state government employees. This general consent is renewed once in a while without the CBI seeking permission. A decision is likely to come in the next couple of days to bring all central government offices under the ACB net, once the state government gets clarification on the issue. Naidu had reportedly directed the officials of the Home Department and also the ACB to see if the probe agency can lay its hands on the officials of the central government posted in the state. The chief minister has also reportedly asked the advocate general and the legal experts to see if ACB can take charge of the central government offices..
