AP skill development body signs MoU with Dassault Systemes

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has entered into an MoU with Dassault Systemes, a French software firm that develops 3D designs, 3D digital mock-up and product lifecycle management software, on Saturday, said the officials.As per the MoU, the APSSDC and Dassault Systemes will work together to enhance the employability skills of students of the state in research and development and technology.The MoU guarantees training for 1,00,000 engineering and polytechnic students within a period of three years starting from 2018-19, financial year. Certification of the candidates is done at the end of the classes.Engineering activities like research projects, demonstration, projects for on-the- job learning, 85 industry certification courses would also be offered to the students in the domains of Aerospace, Automotive and Ship-Building, said APSSDC.The benefits of the programme include exposure to best-in-class software, hardware and industry practices..
