GUNTUR: Attracting small and mid-size IT firms is equally important along with the big-ticket investments, IT minister Nara Lokesh has observed that arrival of more firms will develop an eco-system and generate more jobs. They could bag the big-ticket firm HCL technologies to Gannavaram by offering land.“We needed to support both big and small firms. While creating infrastructure like lands and roads which are important for big firms to set up their shops, giving tax concessions and subsidies would help the small companies. Our aim is to create more jobs to our talented youth right in our own state,” said Lokesh.He said that they had already help more than 35000 youth to get jobs in the local IT firms and inching close to his target of one lakh jobs.
