Dy engineer in ACB net Rs 15cr DA unearthed

Vijayawada: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested Pagadala Ravi Prakash (52), a deputy engineer at panchayat raj department in Ongole in Prakasam district , for having assets disproportionate to his income. He was promoted as a deputy engineer in 2008 and worked at Vetapalem, Ongole, Chirala. During searches, the ACB found that Prakash held disproportionate assets worth Rs 1.5 crore (document value). He also has 836 grams of gold worth Rs 12.3 lakh, Rs 1.35 lakh cash, 1.9 kgs silver, a car, Rs 7.36 lakh bank balance and Rs 6.83 lakh of house hold articles.Prakash joined began as an assistant engineer in panchayat raj engineering department and he worked at Y Palem, Cumbum and Markapur of Prakasam district..
