Kondaveedu fort to be developed as tourist spot

Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said the historic fort of Kondaveedu will be developed into an international tourist spot. The renovation of Kondaveedu coincides with the 500th year of Golconda fort, which once controlled Kondaveedu and Kondapalli citadels.Addressing a meeting, Naidu said Kondaveedu fort has historical and cultural importance. It will be developed into an international tourist spot. Together with Kondapalli fort, Kondaveedu fort will add to tourist spots in the AP capital region.Naidu took the opportunity to explain to people the development and welfare schemes he had launched in the last four-and-a-half years.
