Vijayawada: ACB continues raids on tourism dept official's properties

VIJAYAWADA: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials continued their raids on Rachuri Siva Rao 's residence and other locations for the second consecutive day on Thursday.The ACB sleuths have unearthed more immovable assets from the benamis of the estate manager in the tourism department.According to ACB sleuths, they found eight more plots across Vijayawada , Krishna and Guntur districts.These eight assets are registered in the name of Rao's mother-in-law Darla Chittemma and other close relatives and bring his total number of plots to 22.The eight assets are situated in Nunna, Gannavaram, Gunadala, Guduru, Kankipadu and Tadepalli areas.The highest valued land that sleuths have identified is in Gunadala area.Officials also said the ACB court has sent Rao to judicial remand till March 7..
