Left parties seek to contest 12 assembly, 2 LS seats in north AP

CPI has a strong base in Paderu tribal pocket and in the industrial belt of Payakaraopeta, he added. Left party leaders met Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday.Speaking to TOI, CPM state secretariat member Ch Narasinga Rao said the party is likely to contest from Araku (ST reserved) and Gajuwaka assembly segments in Visakhapatnam district and from Kurupam (ST reserved) assembly constituency in Vizianagaram district and Palakonda (ST reserved) and Etcherla assembly constituencies in Srikakulam district besides contesting from Araku (ST reserved) Lok Sabha constituency.
