Major water pipeline replacement work begins

The pipeline brings Raiwada water from Narava filtration plant to Town Service Reservoir in the heart of the city. However, officials said water supply will not be affected as the pipeline is a new one. The maintenance work is leading to disruption in water supply. Now the 4.5 km pipeline work is being executed under the partly Centrally-sponsored Atal Mission for Urban Rejuvenation and Transformation (AMRUT), at a cost of ?20 crore..
