An afterthoughtMajority of the stakeholders opposed the underground project proposed on Beach Road, alleging that the project was conceived as an afterthought of the LuLu Group’sconvention centre project. “In such a instance, the residents of Beach Road and Pandurangapuram and Kirlampudi Layout will face trouble as people will park their vehicles in the lanes,” he said. “The underground parking came as an afterthought after the LuLu Group’s project which is proposed to receive an estimated 70,000 visitors per day,” said K.M..
