Adobe Digital Disha to be launched in schools

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh school education department entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Adobe to launch the latter’s Adobe Digital Disha in schools at the Tech conference on Thursday. Besides, teachers will be able to easily create digital lesson plans and tutorials using Spark applications.Commissioner of school education, K Sandhya Rani, said they will launch the Adobe Digital Disha in 500 schools on a pilot basis, covering about 2 lakh children and 7,000 teachers. The MoU will give free access to the teachers and students to Adobe Spark, a cloud-based application that can be accessed through both computers and cell phones. The Dali (Dyslexia Assessment for Languages of India) app has been developed by a team at Unesco MGIEP and launched in Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Hindi and English. This is expected to enable students to express themselves via graphics, web stories and videos to creatively approach their assignments as well as to develop digital portfolios..
