Visakhapatnam: A four-member delegation from Bhutan , comprising senior teachers, has proposed to use a few ideas from Tech 2018 Summit and implement them in their own country.Members of the delegation said, that the country follows the Indian model of education and is in the early stages of developing its own educational model system in its 600 schools.“We still follow the traditional model of rote learning and teaching in Bhutan. “Gaming devices could be used to make teaching and learning more fun and we hope that they would also improve student-teacher interaction,” she said.They pointed out that the main task would be to enable teachers to acquire new skill sets to adapt to the changing scenario.“The changes are inevitable and we have to find a way to enhance the tech skills of our teachers, the problem is not with the students as much,” observed Keizang Lhansdo.
