File bail plea in special court accusedrsquos lawyer told

VISAKHAPATNAM: The lawyer of J Srinivasa Rao, the sole accused in the attack on YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy, has been asked to file bail petition in the special court that takes care of NIA cases. The NIA’s plea to transfer the case from Vizag to Vijayawada was also considered by the metropolitan magistrate’s court.The accused’s bail petition was moved by his lawyer Saleem in the metropolitan session’s judge court on Wednesday. Accused Srinivasa, from Mummadivaram mandal of East Godavari district , is currently in central jail on remand.His lawyer tried to convince the court, but the judge informed him about the jurisdiction aspect. According to sources, the accused is likely to be shifted from Vizag to Rajahmundry soon..
