Summary:
For the the public bicycle sharing (PBS) system 12 stations will be set up that will have 120 e-bikes. Visakhapatnam: After introducing the e-bicycle sharing system on a pilot basis at the RK beach stretch, the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation has decided to implement the project in 12 other parts of the city. A central control system will be created to track the operations of the system on a real time basis. The e-bicycles will have several advanced facilities such as tracking real time movement, distance travelled, communicating with central control system, etc. These include, city railway station, RTC complex, Simhachalam foothills, both entries of Zoo Park, Kailasagiri ropeway, Gitam Deemed to be University, Vuda Park, etc..
