Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals- Preview and Playing XI

Ipl | Sunday | 22nd April, 2018

Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians to lock horns in the 21st Match of IPL this session.

Both teams standing in the bottom half of the table have to display their stroke against the rival to come up with the victory. While Royals positions atop with their two wins from five, MI only opened their account in their previous match against RCB.

Royals have to address the imbalance of their playing XI and on the bowling front, RR pacers where Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Laughlin, and Ben Stokes need to control the leakage of runs.

Mumbai Indians will put up confidence after their win against RCB. With the account of starting slowly and then catching up, MI could blast this match. MI, who return to the park after a four-day break, will be keen to continue with their challenges.

Ajinkya Rahane has helped his team off to brisk starts while other batsmen like Sanju Samson and Ben Stokes can give a crucial competition to the opponent. Rohit Sharma had laid the foundation for the win over RCB and with Ishan Kishan and Evin Lewis can be tough competition even for the Royals.

The leg-spinners on both sides will have a huge role to play. MI looks more balanced on paper but RR have an Advantage in their home.
