India finally got better of New Zealand as they notched their first win over the visitors in the shortest format of the game, providing Ashish Nehra with the perfect ending to his glittering career in front of his home crowd in Delhi.

Ashish Nehra bowled the last over, the left-arm pacer smiled his way through it and finished his final four-over spell with none for 29 as India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
At the end of the match, Delhi players Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan carried Nehra on their shoulders after the win. The last time an Indian cricketer got a farewell match and was lifted on shoulders by his teammates was Sachin Tendulkar. No one had expected that the next man to receive such honour would be Nehra.
Another good win and a complete team performance. ????????????
