Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, being a senior, has been given the responsibility of vice-captain.

After the ODI series, the Indian team also has to play a three-match T20 series. Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar has shared his thoughts on becoming the vice-captain of the team. He has said that he is the vice-captain only on paper and his work remains the same.

Speaking on a show Bhuvi said, ''Yes, on paper it is my responsibility (vice-captain) but I don't think things will change. As a senior player, my job will be to help other players and improve my skills and mental health. It is an honor and a responsibility for me to be the vice-captain of Team India. So, I will try to continue the things that I am doing and hope that our team does well on this tour''.

Former captain Rahul Dravid is the head coach of the Indian team on this tour. Praising Dravid he said, "I always wanted to work with him and I am lucky that he is the coach of this team now. Many young players have played under him for India A. So we want to work under his guidance and learn from him. We want to understand how he manages things at that level for so long''.
