The Pharoahs are already out of the World Cup after consecutive defeats and there's claims of Salah refusing to play in the final group game. Writing in Arabic, Salah declared on Twitter: “Everyone in Egypt is together and there is absolutely no disagreement between us. We respect each other and the relationship is great." However, Egyptian sports journalist Karim Zidan countered: “Egyptian media is now reporting that, due to the conflict between Mo Salah and the Egyptian football association, the star player is refusing to play the final Egypt match against Saudi Arabia. Plans to leave early. “Mo Salah has since tweeted the Egyptian team remains united but reports continue to come out from Egypt that suggest otherwise."
