Paris awarded 2024 Olympics, Los Angeles gets 2028

Paris will be hosting the quadrennial event 100 years its last Games in 1924, they had three previous failed bid to host 1992, 2008 and 2012 Olympics.

Paris and Los Angeles are set to host 2021 and 2028 Olympics respectively following a vote in Peru’s capital Lima. In a historic day, the International Olympic Committee for the first time crowed the two cities at the same time, hailing the outcome as a win-win-win.
