Smart tops 5G speed test for Samsung, Apple users in the Philippines

Samsung users posted a median download speed of 277.44 Mbps (110.26 on Globe) and a median upload speed of 29.86 Mbps (9.93 Mbps on Globe). Meanwhile, Apple users experienced a median download speed of 208.76 Mbps (112.12 Mbps on Globe) and a median upload speed of 20.25 Mbps (8.01 Mbps on Globe). To date, the Smart 5G network is accessible from over 4,000 sites nationwide – the country’s widest 5G network yet. Last week, Ookla reported that Smart is the country’s fastest 5G network for the first half of 2021. The 5G race in the PhilippinesGlobe is attempting to capture a wider market with its 5G network.
