RUDRAPUR: After absconding for 15 days, a man has been arrested for killing his wife and his daughter-in-law from city bus station, the police said on Friday. Police has also recovered the women's gold ornaments from him.In his complaint with the police, Manjeet Singh, a resident of Teacher's colony in Kichha of distyrict Udham Singh Nagar, had stated that he had gone to Vaishno Devi , while his father Avtar Singh (60), mother Charanjeet Kaur alias Parvati (58) and wife Mandeep Kaur (28) were at home. On December 27, while he was on his way back home, he repeatedly tried to get through their mobile number but in vain. He then called his neighbor to look at his house and ensure that everything was fine. One of the neighbors told him that his father had left the home in the evening and given them the house keys. Upon entering the house, the neighbors found Parvati Devi and Mandeep Kaur lying dead on the floor. Singh had alleged that his father called his elder brother and sister before fleeing away and said to them that he has committed a horrible mistake.
