With water supply at 36-hour intervals, the Mangaluru City Corporation can meet water requirement till May 25, Mayor Kavita Sanil has said. By adopting rationing, water in the Thumbe Vented Dam and AMR Power Limited’s dam at Shambhoor can be supplied to the city and four gram panchayats till May 25. Talking to reporters at a “Meet the press” here on Tuesday, Ms. Sanil said that the water crisis has been on the top of her agenda since taking over as Mayor.
