The second installment of Comic Otaku Superhero Convention (COSCON), scheduled as an intra-day event on January 22 in Nagpur will promise a phenomenon that is five times grander in scale of the first convention organised in 2015. Hence, as the initiators of this event, COSCON will be wrapped with a unique freshness of Japanese culture, in lines with the Japanese festival of Natsumatsuri. The event shall witness the presence of national and international cosplayers and members of national and Japanese organisations.Nagpur Anime Club (NAC) was formed on (8th August, 2012) with a vision of promoting anime, Japanese culture in the city. With a successful pre-event cosplay workshop held in December, 2016, it is expected that the present event will act as a gateway for many people in the city to enter and join the world of anime, comics, movies, gaming, music and books; thereby helping us fulfill our mission of bringing awareness amongst the masses about anime and Japanese culture, along with comic and gaming culture. With over 7000 anime enthusiasts expected to attend the convention, the energy will be all time high.The day that will begin from 10 in the morning, will incorporate a plethora of activities including superhero art competition, gaming tournament, SRK quiz, karaoke, cosplaying and superhero performances.The event will take on the lush open-air grounds of Chitnavis Centre, with an entry fee of Rs 50 only, payable on the spot.
