Re-investigate sexual harassment case against Veraval BJP chief: court

Palanpur: A 14-year-old orphan girl was allegedly raped by a 20-year-old man in Rampura village of Deesa taluka in Banaskantha district.The girl was living with her uncle after her the death of her parents in Himmatnagar sometime ago.The accused Dineshji Thakore lured her with a marriage proposal and raped her twice last week at a remote place. When she didn't return till Saturday night, her aunt lodged a complaint.But Thakor dropped the girl at their house and fled, said H N Rathod, circle inspector, Shihori. Thakor was booked for rape, abduction and sections of POCSO Act.
