The competition was inaugurated by president of The Olympic Association, Visakhapatnam (OAV), T.S.R. The swimming competitions for under 14 children was conducted separately for boys and girls in the two age groups in four events: 50 M backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke and butterflyDIG Visakhapatnam range Ch. The inaugural edition of swimming competition organised by Vizag Sports Journalists Association (ViSJA) in association with Visakhapatnam District Swimming Association at Aqua Sport Complex in Vizag city was a resounding success with over 160 children (under-12 and under-14 boys and girls), participating in it here on Sunday. Inaugurating the event, Mr. Prasad said that OAV would continue its support for organising more competitions in other sports such as basketball, football, badminton and a few other disciplines for children in the coming days.
