Bhojpuri Star and NCP Gen Secretary Sudip Pandey's mother succumbs to Covid-19

The second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic has claimed numerous lives of our loved ones; meanwhile, the film industry is also facing the flak of the deadly virus. Several celebrities have contracted the virus themselves, while many have mourned the death of their loved ones.

Actor and General secretary of NCP, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Sudip Pandey’s mother Chanda Pandey aged 76 succumbed to coronavirus in the Navi Mumbai's MGM hospital on 21 May. Sudip also lost his father Upendra Nath Pandey (80) to Covid-19 a month before on April 16. Both of them were undergoing treatment at the MGM hospital for the past few days.

Their last rites were performed by Sudip along with his sister Nishi Choubey in Navi Mumbai, Nidhi's husband Binod Chaubey along with other family members paid their tributes to the departed souls via video conferencing.

Mourning the loss of his beloved parents Sudip Pandey Said "My parent’s love is my treasure. I miss them more after losing them. Wherever they are, they will always be in my heart. This is very devastating to lose both parents in such a short period, we can’t change the destiny but at least I am satisfied that MGM hospital tried their level best to save my mother’s life and our entire family is thankful to Mr G.S. Narshetty, the Dean sir and his MGM medical team for this"

Sudip Pandey and Binod Choubey distributed food to the poor on this occasion. When asked about it he explained, “my parents always loved to help the needy and this culture passed on to us.” The demise of Sudip Pandey’s parents is widely condoled by the entire Bhojpuri film Industry and Nationalist Congress Party members.
