A case of theft was lodged with the Sola police station on Monday after Rs 5 lakh cash was stolen from Activa mopped which was parked outside a Pan shop in Thaltej area. The incident took place on Monday evening at around 6.30pm right outside a Pan shop located near Gulabtower of Thaltej area. The complaint was lodged by the victim identified as Haresh Thakor,32, a resident of Shayona city located in Ghatlodia area. By 6 pm, Thakor collected the cash from the Angadia and put it inside the compartment of his Activa and was going on home. In between Thakor, stopped at his friend Jigar’s pan shop located at Thaltej to have some Masala pan (chewing tobacco)..
