Police to use drones to keep watch on students during AUSU 2017 polls

Police have chalked out a special strategy to ensure free and fair Allahabad University Student Union (AUSU) 2017 polls, the City cops for the first time would be deploying drones during the student union polls to keep an eye on activities of students, leaders and their supporters. "In 2016 AUSU polls, the police had deployed five and two companies of PAC and RAF respectively and the strength of such companies would be more this year", said the SSP. ALLAHABAD: Known for its students' frequent run-ins with law enforcement officials, Allahabad University campus would soon have a set of drone encircling its premises.
