2 in net for stabbing youth to death during procession

The man succumbed to his injuries around 12.10am on Sunday at the Government Medical College and Hospital.The suspects, Avinash Jadhav and his elder brother Kunal Jadhav, fled soon after stabbing Ashish Salve. Aurangabad: A 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed by two sons of an former army man, around 10.30pm on Saturday at Kranti Chowk, where the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations were taking place. His elder brother Sachin was the first from the family to reach the spot and with the help of his friends he rushed him to the GMCH.Sachin lodged a complaint with the Kranti Chowk police and the suspects have been booked on the charges of murder. But, a crime branch team led by assistant inspector Ghanshyam Sonawne nabbed them soon.Sonawne said, “Kunal was nabbed from Badnapur in Jalna district, while Avinash was caught from a dhaba at Kachner phata on the Aurangabad-Beed highway.”Police said the suspects and the deceased, all residents of Rama Nagar, were friends-turned-foes. Salve got married five months ago and was working with the State Bank of India’s Connaught Market branch.Assistant inspector Govardhan Kolekar said, “The preliminary investigations revealed that there was an argument followed by clashes during Salve’s marriage over a petty issue of playing music, following which their relationship turned sour.On Saturday night, Salve allegedly had an argument with one of the suspects and the other one joined in, after which they stabbed him and fled..
