Aurangabad: Yet another probe has begun in the excess depiction of affiliation fees worth Rs20.32 crore by the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu), raising hopes that accountability will prevail.It was the office of the Accountant General (AG), Maharashtra who had first raised suspicion over the sum in question way back in April, 2014. “The office of the AG had pinpointed the financial lapse way back in 2014 but no action has been taken against anybody so far. It is a very serious matter, which raises question marks over the functioning of the university, the office of the Chancellor and the state government as a whole,” he said..
