Spl trains announced for Ijtema

Aurangabad: South Central Railway (SCR) will run two special trains to clear extra rush of passengers attending Ijtema, taking place in Bhopal.The Nanded-Bhopal train (07421) will run on November 23. As a part of the makeover, the pit-line at Purna will have improved capability of catering to trains having upto 14 coaches.Currently the Purna pit-line can accommodate trains with 12 coaches. The train with the new coach will journey from Nanded on November 29 and depart Panvel the next day.Meanwhile, SCR divisional manager for Nanded, A K Sinha is scheduled to visit Aurangabad on Sunday. A pit-line is a facility for carrying out inspection and routine maintenance work for the parts of a carriage. He is expected to visit Mukundwadi station which is undergoing renovation.Sinha recently supervised the makeover for Gangakhed, Parbhani and Purna railway stations..
