Male leopard trapped in cage at Pilibhit village

Pilibhit: Forest department officials in Pilibhit breathed a sigh of relief on Wednesday after a leopard, which had been on the prowl, was trapped in a cage set up by them in Bundibhud village, near the Barahi forest range of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR). Forest officials suspect the presence of another leopard in the area.Panic had gripped residents after the leopard allegedly killed at least six domestic animals over the past one month.
