Bareilly: Three days after a 17-year old rape survivor gave birth to a girl, the infant died on Sunday night in Meerganj area of Bareilly. While the girl’s family said that the child had died of illness, police, suspecting foul play, have sent the body for post mortem.The survivour had allegedly been raped by a 33-year-old neighbour. The accused, who was arrested under section 376 (rape) of the IPC and sections of the POCSO Act, has denied raping the girl and fathering the child.
