Summary:

Bareilly: On Tuesday night, seven dacoits barged into the house of an embroidery trader Chaman in Bamiyana village under Bhamora police station and allegedly gunned him down when he resisted. We have lodged an FIR under sections 395 (dacoity), 396 (dacoity with murder), 397 (dacoity, with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt) of IPC. Over an altercation, one of the dacoits shot at him from a close range and he collapsed in a pool of blood. On hearing gunshots, Chaman’s brother and other family members woke up. The miscreants also injured his brother Naseemuddin while thrashing him badly..
