Metro, rains worsen Nayandahalli Jn pothole menace

BENGALURU: The nightmare at Nayandahalli junction is only getting unbearable by the day. The Palike has officially transferred road-maintenance responsibilities to BMRCL in areas where Metro construction work is under way, pointed out a civic official. “The heavy vehicles BMRCL use are spoiling the roads. Though nearby roads have been asphalted in patches, potholes continue to grow bigger and deeper, thanks to the ongoing Metro work and monsoon.“There are days when I am stuck in the junction for over one hour.
