B'luru: Bellandur froth threatens to spill over

BENGALURU: Following Monday night's rainfall, the foam from Bellandur lake threatened to spill over once again.“There is massive frothing at Bellandur here, and the foam is threatening to spill over onto the roads. However, residents have labelled such measures as being ‘short-term’ and an ‘eye-wash’. When it rains heavily, the froth spills over onto the roads, and even floats into nearby houses and shops.In the past, the BDA has responded to such frothing by installing water-sprinklers, which they claim brings down the frothing by over 75%.
