In September, the Central Valuation Committee (CVC) poured over all the objections received in connection with the proposed hike and approved a hike of 10% to 30%. more-inThe Department of Stamps and Registrations, which had earlier decided to hike guidance value in the first week of October, has put it off by another month. According to highly placed sources in the department, the final notification on the guidance value hike will most likely be issued only after the code of conduct ends on November 7.
