He said the rally was aimed at spreading awareness among people against drug abuse. An event would be organised at the District Administrative Complex, where people would be administered oath against drug abuse, he said. The DC said various sporting events would be organized at various villages with an aim to channelise the energy of youth in a constructive manner. Meanwhile, SSP Nanak Singh said as many as 38,352 Drug Abuse Prevention Officers (DAPOs) were playing a significant role in sensitising the people to the drug abuse across the district..
