Mandi Gobindgarh banks on CNG to curb air pollution

Amloh SDM Anand Sagar Sharma said, “Industrialists have been advised to convert their units into a compressed natural gas (CNG) from coal. A CNG gas station has been set up. Air pollution control Device (APCD) will be installed in steel melting furnaces.”He directed the Forest Department’s officials to plant saplings on a war footing. Sharma called upon the residents and NGOs to work in tandem with the administration to make the town free of air pollution..
