In a complaint filed against Bharti Axa Life Insurance Company Limited, Dr Paras Ram Chauhan, a resident of Mandi, stated that in 2011, he had obtained a life insurance policy from Bharti Axa Life Insurance on payment of yearly premium. However, employees of the insurance company declined to issue the receipt and later denied any such amount was transferred in their account. Hence, the present consumer complaint was filed for directing the company to refund the amount of premium and Rs 1 lakh as compensation and Rs 21, 000 as litigation expenses.
