AG’s intervention brings relief to TNCA, MCC

In its affidavit, the MCC said that it was shocked to receive a demand notice from the Tahsildar on September 11 for a whopping amount of ?225 crore towards rental arrears from 2001 to 2015. Pointing out that the Tahsildar initially demanded and collected ?32 lakh in August this year, the association said that the very next month a demand for ?1,553 crore was made..
