CUTTACK: Two criminals sustained bullet injuries in an encounter with police in Chauliaganj locality. The two history sheeters injured in police firing are Alekh Routray and Kala Babu. On seeing police team, both the criminals opened fire at them and also hurled a live bomb on them. "In defence, our men also opened fire at the two history sheeters in which they sustained bullet injuries on their legs," said DCP( Cuttack ), Akhileswar Singh.Condition of both the criminals is stated stable by doctors.
