ROURKELA: A CBI team from Bhubaneswar conducted raids on the house of a deputy general manager of Rourkela Steel Plant , the home of a retired executive director of RSP, the residence of a retired RSP officer and offices of two local businessman on Friday. The raids were conducted after irregularities in awarding a tender to a private business house was detected, said an official source.A source said a 17-member CBI team from Bhuabaneswar reached Rourkela and raided multiple locations. An amount of Rs 1 lakh, which he had allegedly received from one business house, was seized then.
