Dehradun: There are around seven helicopter companies operating in Uttarakhand which have to pay an outstanding amount of Rs 23,76,081 to the government as landing parking fees in the first six months of the on-going financial year.The information was shared by the government on the question asked by independent MLA from Dhanaulti Pritam Singh Panwar.The government informed that Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) charges landing parking fees from private heli companies for using government helipads and runways in the state.The government, in its written reply, stated that seven companies have failed to pay the outstanding landing parking fees of Rs 23,76,081 to the government.When asked when the pending amount will be cleared, the government said that these helicopters are used by the government for ferrying VIPs and in emergency situations..
