‘Two words’ help man who lost his memory in accident reunite with family

FARIDABAD: 25-year-old Pankaj had lost his memory in an accident and was separated from his family but remembering just two words helped him reunite with his family.Pankaj, a resident of Dabua Colony , met with an accident on 30th August. Onlookers took him to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi but the impact of the accident was such that he has lost his memory.When he regained consciousness, it was found that he had lost his memory and he couldn't tell anything about his family, or his address. Seeing the photo, his brother identified him and he and his father reached the hospital with the police team. Pankaj's brother Durgesh and his mother Nirmala Devi are now in the hospital with him.Doctors said that now he is now out of danger and recovering. But, after spending 36 days in hospital, Pankaj is now finally with his family members.He kept on muttering only two words: 'Chungi 3' and 'Pahadi’.On Saturday, a PCR received a call from Safdarjung Hospital Chowki and they were informed that a 25-year-old man is in the hospital since 30th August and is saying only two words.This information was sent to the missing cell along with his photo..
