But, a consensus could not be arrived at.Later, Shah had tweeted: “After discussion with the Goa Pradesh BJP core committee it has been decided that Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar will continue to lead the Goa government. The state government’s cabinet portfolio reallocation will be carried out at the earliest.”Accordingly, Parrikar dropped two ailing former ministers Francis D’Souza and Pandurang Madkaikar. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment at his private residence.Parrikar had attended the last assembly session in August before flying to the US for a medical follow-up..
