Student stabs senior to death in Fatehabad school

FATEHABAD: A Class X student stabbed a senior student to death at their school in Haryana’s Fatehabad district on Monday. A case has registered against the 17-year-old student under Section 302 (murder) and the Arms Act by the Haryana police. The doctors there referred him to Agroha Medical College, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment in Agroha. The deceased has been identified as a 19-year-old student of the same school.The case has been handed over to DSP Jagdish Kajla and CIA incharge Anoop Singh for investigation. Preliminary inquiry has revealed that the accused student was upset over regular bullying by the deceased and his friends.The deceased was appearing in non-board examination and the teacher was busy with exam duty when the accused took out a knife from his bag and stabbed his senior who was sitting in veranda outside the classroom.The accused stabbed his senior 2-3 times and before other students and school staff reached the spot after hearing his cries for help.The injured teenager was first rushed to a community health centre in critical condition..
