Clause 6 Should Be Implemented As Soon As Possible AIPPC

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Speaking about Clause 6 of Assam Accord, the Assam Indigenous People Protection Committee (AIPPC) stated that the indigenous people of Barak Valley fully support the government's stand to implement Clause 6. Joint Secretary of AIPPC Chittaranjan Singh said, “The people who are opposing the Assam accord mostly belong to the Hindu Bengali Community. Barak itself is a part of Assam, so we support the implementation of Clause 6.” The committee forwarded total three demands. Their second demand was that implementation of clause 6 of Assam accord is the need of the hour to save the indigenous people and it should be implemented soon.
